Truth or Dare
Self-Funded Theatrical Short / HBO
Truth or Dare is an award winning short film directed by Stuart Clarke. Winner of the British Short Film Festival‘s Kodak prize for its cinematic visuals, it is the story of 4 young people who embark on an audacious drinking game that goes out of control. Described at the time of its release by the Ministry of Sound magazine as: ‘The most exciting pre-film entertainment this side of the new Star Wars trailer’. After winning its award at the British Short Film Festival, this self-funded 35mm short film, which features music from Fatboy Slim, was purchased by Channel Four Films. Soon after it was also purchased by HBO – which only choose to buy a limited number of award winning short films a year. ‘Truth or Dare’ is the first foray by Wild Dream Films into theatrical productions and sets out the ambition of the company to produce feature films.
